Högskolan i Borås

The university is called Högskolan i Borås. It consists of nine parts, divided into two buildings.

In the first building we can see that it is divided in five parts (A, B, C, D and E), we can find in this parts; input, the cafeteria, teachers offices, classrooms and workrooms. I was amazed the first time that I saw it, because there are many workrooms and they are equipped with computer, flat Screen and sometimes whiteboards. In Borås is very important group work.

In the other building we can see the others parts (H, J, L and M), where we can found the library (J) that is consisted in 5 floors. There are computers, tables, study rooms and workrooms.

In the others parts we can found more classrooms, offices and other cafeteria.

In class, the methodology is different to Spain. Here we started the course in August, while in Spain the course begins in October. Here there is a program, which I can see the activities and class each weeks. Each week has a different time. there are some class, but there are more study groups and seminaries of literature.
In Spain there are most class and when we have to do workgruop, we do not have any place to do it, we have to go some house or in the corridor where there are some desks. we just have computers in the library, but there, we do not can talk.

I like the methodology here, and I think that it can to be more effective.

  1. Hello!

I think that is a good idea write of the University where we are.

It is correct speak of the differences that there are in Spain and Sweden respect to the lessons organization.

Like you, I think that this metodology is good for the students.
